Sometimes, we persist with actions or activities that we would have stopped long ago, if we were to have stepped back and realised we were getting nowhere.

 

Being too close or too committed, leads to denial and ongoing persistence, in the face of mounting evidence that a particular course of action is not delivering the required returns.
